MOH and DOH UAE Licensure Requirements

·         Degree / Diploma in Nursing  - authenticated by (A) Ministry of Foreign affairs and (B) UAE Embassy

·         CGFNS or NCLEX certificate (optional)

·         Nursing experience:  Minimum 2 years prior to applying for registration
Experience certificate(s) - authenticated by (A) Ministry of Foreign Affairs and (B) UAE Embassy

·         DOH and MOH Completed Application Form (available upon request)

·         Sixteen (16) recent, passport-size photos

·         Passport  copy – ALL pages  

·         Statutory evidence of any name change (marriage license, other legal document)

·         School Leaving Certificate or Diploma (Primary and Secondary)

·         Nursing Training Certificate(s)

·         Nursing School Transcript / Marked Sheets – should have a minimal attainment of sixty percent (60%) of total marks each year

·         Nursing License Identification Card or Registration showing current validity (at least 6 months valid upon receipt)

·         Resume / CV (MedRP format) –  must include complete mother’s name

If any of the required documents listed above is in other than Arabic or English, legal translation into Arabic or English must be attached to the documents.

CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES of all these documents are required. Please submit these documents ASAP to be considered for UAE Vacancies.

UAE Placement Assistance Program

UAE currently has many nursing positions available, details of which are given below. There are 3 types of Nursing Licensures available in UAE depending on the geographical area where Nurse desires to practice.

a)       GAHS Licensure (Required to practice in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain)

b)       MOH Licensure (Required for Northern emirates, comprising of Ajman, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, etc.)

c)       DOH Licensure (Required to practice in Dubai)    

·         Northern Emirates – Salary range Dhs 5000 to Dhs 5500 per month, NO Accommodation.
·         Dubai – Salary range Dhs 2500 to Dhs 5500 per month, Accommodation may be provided.

MedRP is currently assisting nurses to acquire UAE licensure and assist in placement.

Registration requirements:

Detailed Curriculum vita (CV or Bio Data in English or Arabic).
Copy of Basic Degree B.Sc. or Diploma. (Diploma duration not less than two years) (ATTESTED)
Copy of Duration/Transcript for B.Sc. or Dip.(ATTESTED)
Copy of postgraduate Certificate. (If available) (ATTESTED)
Copy of Duration /Transcript for the postgraduate Certificate. (ATTESTED)
Copy of School leaving Certificate or equivalent (for Diploma Holders only).
Copy Of work experience (These should only state starting Date, date of leaving and post held. (Required minimum 1 year of experience after B.Sc. or Diploma) [if the experience is from the private sector, it should be at least 2 years].
Copy of passport.
4 Photographs.
50 Dhs. Fee at the Exam Registration date.
Attestation must be done from M. O.Foreign Affairs, U.A.E.Embassy in the Country Degrees Awarded and M.O.Foreign Affairs in U.A.E.
